This trend has influences from the 1970's, the colour plaette remains neutral.  The fabrics used are light weight such as cotten, crochet, lace and chiffons which create more free silhouettes.  Detailing consists of floral embrodiery and beading providing a more femineine look.

Vera Wang looks at the drapes of the fabric on the silhouette of the body, she uses small detailing and embellishments such as beadwork to create more eye catching pieces.  She has used a lot of black in her collection which creates a more dramatic feel.
